Here's a great way to get FREE cell phone service. A company called RingPlus offers free cell phone plans that run on Sprint's LTE network.
Tonight, 4/14/16 from 5-9PM they will be having a flash promo where new lines can sign up for a plan that offers 3,200 minutes, 3,200 texts, and 3,200MB of data every month FOR FREE! You don't get charged anything else unless you go over those amounts.
There's are a few catches. Since it is supported by ads, when you place a call, instead of hearing a standard ring, you hear music mixed with some ads (the person you're calling doesn't hear anything different.) You have to pay a $25 initial "Top-up" fee to cover any overages you may have, but that doesn't get touched unless you go over your monthly allotment. I've currently got 4 different lines running on 4 different plans right now... one for each member of the family.
Monthly allotments vary depending on the plan you sign up for, and their plans change often. Currently, any Sprint, Boost Mobile, FreedomPop or Virgin Mobile phone can work on RingPlus. However, starting on 4/17/16, a device will have to have first be used on it's original network for a year before it can be used on RingPlus.
So until then, if you don't have a phone, there is a great way to get started. BestBuy has the Boost Mobile Moto E on sale for $29.99 which works perfectly with RingPlus. They also have the Lg Tribute Duo for $32.99 or the LG Tribute 2 for $29.99. All of these phones work perfectly with RingPlus right out of the box, and can later be upgraded to a better phone by buying a used phone.
Additionally the follow phones should be compatbile with a Sprint SIM card.
